Decending Is Ascending

I was speaking with a new artist associate on the phone recently, who was sharing with me how she was experiencing financial challenges and on the verge of losing their house.  It is her, her husband and their dog.  Now this artist has some amazing abilities that she shares with the planet and she really needs to monetize with her artistic gifts to save that house.  Yet, while I was speaking with her it inspired me to write this months article on how descending is actually ascending. 

I was explaining to her that she should stop the struggle and allow herself and her husband to lose the house.  I know this sounds like lousy advice to many of you reading this yet, from an ascension point of view this is the best thing that could happen to them.  I know for a fact she is not going to be homeless or go hungry because that is not her path.  Sometimes, when letting go of the thing you are in fact trying to save, it will save itself and nothing has to change.  Yet, at other times, when you are letting go sometimes this comes with great changes and perceived loss.  It is that change and loss that is making space for the newness that is coming forward.  That newness is something better and greater than you could have ever imagined.

Now, not everyone’s descending/ascending processes is like Eckhart Tolle’s (author of A New Earth) or Neale Donald Walsch (author of Conversations With God series).  These two world renown spiritual teachers/authors who went through deep descending/ascending processes to reach their next steps in life.  Both of them were homeless and on the street while receiving their master teachings in life.  We are all going through this process now and not everyone who is losing their house, their car, their business is meant to be homeless.  You are meant to have a home, a transport system and a business and it just might not be exactly where and how you “think” it is suppose to be.

I don’t know about you, but I was taught to make a life that was stable, secure and predictable.  Funny thing is my life has been everything, but those qualities that I was taught.  I had to let go of the reigns, so to speak and allow myself to ascend through shaky, unstable and unpredictable territory all throughout my childhood, teenage & adult life. The one thing that I have learned in this life that I can always count on is change.  This is an uncomfortable planet to live on and it is going to be more uncomfortable for those who are not allowing themselves to descend/ascend with wisdom.  The wisdom is you are taken care of if you simply allow yourself to be.  It may not be in the fancy way that you think you should be taken care of, but you will be taken care of. 

Many people are being brought down to the basics.  As the basics are whittling us down to the bare bones of life we are able to have a vision of what is truly important to us.  There is a simplicity in life that is so beautiful to receive and that receiving is your ascension.  Everyone’s ascension process is different and unique so it is not for us to judge or compare, but it is our job to be compassionate while we experience ourselves and others going through it. 

The fear factor can be quite intense during the descending/ascending process because it can seem like you are going nowhere except down a drain.  I am here to sprinkle some light into that scary part of what is happening to so many people now days.  Imagine that the drain that you think you are going down is like a swirling spiral.  Now as you are swirling down the spiral and you cannot see where you are going.  You are blind.  This blindness while you are spinning down your spiral then opens up your vision in ways you could not have even imagined.  Your field of vision is now operating from the inside.  An internal radar system is now being put into you so you can navigate the new earth system.  You are now a baby learning to walk, talk and eat again with a whole new set of eyes.  So as you crawl along your new path that is before you stay in your present (gift) moment because that is all you are going to need to know.  Happy Holidays !
